In collaboration with some of our close partners we have been able to assure a side event during the upcoming 69th World Health Assembly in Geneva. The session will take place at the opening day Tuesday 23 May from 18.00 - 19.30 and will attract many WHO member states to inform themselves on the latest developments within the Primary Care domain.

Some more very good news! The official journal of the EFPC, Primary Health Care Research & Development, will be included in Thomson Reuters' Journal Citation Reports (JCR) / Science Edition. In May/June this year they will get their first impact factor.

Congratulations to the Cambridge University Press team and in particularly to the chief editors, Sally Kendall and Ros Bryar.

Prof Jan De Maeseneer has been invited for a high level meeting at the WHO Geneva Headquarters early April. The meeting with the title "Primary Health Care improvement global stakeholder meeting" is an initiative of the WHO Service Delivery & Safety department and is a result of recent collaborative efforts by international development agencies to draw attention to Primary Health Care like the Primary Health Care Performance Initiative (PHCPI).
