Based on the real life example of the Community Health Centre "The Botermarkt" in Ghent, Belgium, Prof Jan De Maeseneer presented for a large and high level audience the basic concepts of the CHC movement.

  • 9 September theatre play based on a script "Margaret" written by EFPC Flemish members Tom Declerq and Pauline Boeckxstaens from the University of Ghent, directed by Cagri Kalaca and played by EFPC Turkish members Emrah Kirimli (the Son), Mehmet Akman (the Doctor) and Sirin Parkan (Margaret).
  • The official launch of the International Federation of Community Health Centres for the European Region during the annual conference of the European Forum for Primary Care in Istanbul on the 10th of September 2013.with presentations of Prof Jan De Maeseneer, chairman of the EFPC and directing council member of the IFCHC, Nele Gerits, Belgian CHC representatives and Diederik Aarendonk, EFPC & IFCHC coordinator.
