Dear conference delegates,

Some of you might have concerns about the EFPC Istanbul conference due to recent protests and civilian movement takıng place on Istanbul streets. In short, as organizers we are pleased to inform you that the Istanbul conference will go on as planned and as the situation keeps as it is in Istanbul, there should not be any worries. For those who are interested, we would like to describe the current situation in Istanbul briefly.

-Thursday 27/6; 14.00-15.00 UEMO/WONCA/EFPC workshop on Interprofessional Education (IPE) with presentations by Janko Kersnik, President of EURACT and Diederik Aarendonk, EFPC Coordinator

-Friday 28/6; 10.00-11.30 EFPC workshop on the topic of Primary Care and Roma Health chaired by Diederik Aarendonk and Danica Rotar, EFPC Board Member

Investing in Health in Europe!
We are very happy to announce that following the evaluation of the applications for membership to the Commission Expert Panel on effective ways of investing in health in response to the call of the expression of interest (2012/C 310/05) which was published in the Official Journal in October 2012, the Commission has communicated to nominate our chairman Prof Jan De Maeseneer for membership in the Expert Panel.
