WHA16 side-event: Global and local: Public Health and Primary Care in action!

In collaboration with some of our close partners we have been able to assure a side event during the upcoming 69th World Health Assembly in Geneva. The session will take place at the opening day Tuesday 23 May from 18.00 - 19.30 and will attract many WHO member states to inform themselves on the latest developments within the Primary Care domain.

The leading partner will be The Network: Towards Unity For Health which will share the time-slot with the World Federation of Public Health Associations. The shared topic is gathered around "Global and local: Public Health and Primary Care in action!". Other partners involved are WONCA, IFMSA and IAPO. The Slovenian ministry of health also helped to get the application accepted and the main idea was developed by the core-partners of the International Federation of Community Health Centres (IFCHC).

The agreed programme of the side-event will include a presentation of Prof. Bettina Borisch of WFPHA and Prof Jan De Maeseneer of TUFH/IFCHC/EFPC. The final 30 minutes will include a discussion chaired by both presenters.
