Dear colleague, We have been together with other members and friends of EFPC at our recent conference in Nanterre. We wish you could have been there in Nanterre because…. Best wishes, #EFPC2019 Nanterre conference delegates

We have been together with other members and friends of EFPC at our recent conference in Nanterre. We wish you could have been there in Nanterre because….
  • There was so much to learn from, with and about each other
  • A great range of people from so many  professions and countries looking at the same problem from different perspectives
  • An opportunity to meet and work with people outside of health care
  • You would have had a box of chocolates!  Life is like that,  you do not know what you might get
  • Your country might have problems that could be solved in discussions with other colleagues from other countries.
  • Nanterre is the most beautiful city in the world
  • There was so much diversity and yet solidarity between us
In Nanterre we felt that …….
  • There was a real emphasis on all aspects of primary care
  • İntegration of health care and welfare was present and community orientation was also present
  • Language is not a barrier but a tool that can connect us here
  • There was alot of respect between professionals and countries
  • Straightforwardness between us
  • Problems were openly discussed, no hidden agenda’s and shyness because things are not perfect in any of our systems
  • The quality of presentations and debates are getting better and better
We want to share take home messages with you like that….
  • The challenges in most countries are the same, just that the problems are different.
We thank  our French colleagues because….
  • Lovely food and drinks
  • For their wonderful hospitality
And finally, it was possible to be in contact and network with so many different people so that we could advocate for Primary Health Care
And with a twist: “we were happy you all were not here because the participation size (number) was perfect” wink
