EFPC Webinar: “Health and socioeconomic deprivation in the migrant population in Norway”
The EFPC will be hosting a webinar on “Health and socioeconomic deprivation in the migrant population in Norway”, next 29th of June, at 14h (CET), by Priyanthi Borgen Gjerde – Senior Researcher at Norwegian Research Institute.
Priyanthi Borgen Gjerde leads the research group NORCE, one of the four regional general medical research units located in Bergen. She believes that research into GPs’ challenges should be strengthened. “In Norway we are in the middle of a GP crisis and the patients who come to GPs have more and more complex health problems. We obviously need to do more research on this if we are to give them good treatment.”
