Yesterday 29th of June, our chair Prof Maria van den Muijsenbergh held her farewell speech at the big hall of the Vereeniging in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, ending her career at the Radboud University and PHAROS as professor of Health Differences and Person-Oriented Integrated Primary Care. The title of her speech was: Everyone counts: inclusive care, education and research.
We are proud to have such a dedicated and wise chair who can inspire many other people, as well colleague professors of whom many were present at the Vereeniging as well as professionals, patients, policymakers and politicians. The mayor of Nijmegen, Hubert Bruls, honoured her with a royal award in front of the numerous people present at her last official public lecture as a professor.
We are happy for the privilege of having Maria as our chair for another number of years, leading the EFPC to care for everyone in society!
